ScanSource has been committed to giving back to the communities in which we live and work since our inception in 1992, with a strong focus on supporting educational initiatives and the overall welfare of children in these communities. As a Scholastic Literacy Partner, and through the FastLane "Driving for Literacy" program, we were able to extend this mission to our partners while bringing awareness to the issue of literacy.

Yes, ScanSource is based in Greenville, SC, but that doesn’t stop us from creating opportunities to give back in cities that host our events - and it's always a bonus when we're able to include our partners in charitable initiatives. As part of the "Driving for Literacy" program, our partners attending the ScanSource Partner Summit had an opportunity to get involved alongside ScanSource employees as they wrote inspirational messages to students on bookmarks that were placed inside each book.

As part of this year’s ScanSource Partner Summit in Indianapolis, IN, we were so excited to work with Scholastic and the Indianapolis Public School Education Foundation to announce the ScanSource FastLane “Driving for Literacy” initiative. The program, which is aimed at promoting literacy, provided more than 1,000 books to students in three elementary schools in Indianapolis.
